Is now a good time to buy a used 2019 Lexus RX?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently and still find worthwhile listings.

• Deal availability: 37.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 105 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 9.27% compared with last year.

What is the 2019 Lexus RX's resale value?

The current average of $33,876 CAD sits slightly below last year's $37,337 CAD.

That price movement suggests the RX has become a bit more accessible for buyers, which can help keep demand steady in the near term. For a future seller, the softer market means you may need to price carefully to stay competitive. Even so, the RX’s reputation for comfort and reliability helps support its appeal when it comes time to resell.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2019 Lexus RX or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2019 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2019 if:

• 37.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 9.27% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2020 if:

• At $39,700 CAD, the 2020 costs more than the current year's $33,876 CAD average.
• It adds two-row and three-row flexibility, including the RX-L.

The bottom line:
Choose the 2019 if you want the better value and are focused on comfort, reliability, and a lower entry price. Consider the 2020 if you need the added seating flexibility and are willing to pay more for it.
