Used 2023 Jeep Cherokee for Sale near New Brunswick

How much does the 2023 Jeep Cherokee cost?

Prices have softened 15.59% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 181 listings available, which suggests a modest amount of inventory for used shoppers.

Is the 2023 Jeep Cherokee a good car?

Yes — 4.5/5 is a strong user rating for a used SUV, and the 2023 Cherokee’s appeal comes from its mix of everyday usability and available capability. It remains one of the more distinctive-looking choices in its class, and the simpler two-trim lineup makes it easier to shop than earlier versions of the generation. The Trailhawk trim adds the most rugged hardware, while standard touchscreen and smartphone integration features help it fit daily driving needs.

With 33.7% of listings marked as good or great deals, you have a meaningful share of the market to compare against.

Is the 2023 Jeep Cherokee reliable?

Owners rate it 4.5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The 2023 Cherokee benefits from later-generation updates that made it easier to live with than earlier versions, including standard touchscreen and smartphone integration features. At the same time, this generation was known for major transmission issues in its early years, and the buying guide also points to poor efficiency and some bad engines through the years.

For used buyers, that means long-term ownership risk is more about careful vehicle history and condition than the badge alone.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2023 Jeep Cherokee?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently but should move quickly on the right listing.

• Deal availability: 33.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 181 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 15.59% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $31,303 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2023 Jeep Cherokee's resale value?

The current average of $31,303 CAD sits slightly below last year's $37,086 CAD.

That price movement suggests the Cherokee has already absorbed a meaningful amount of depreciation, which can help future sellers if the market stays steady. If you buy at the right price now, there may be less downside left than there was a year ago. The model’s distinctive styling and available capability can also help keep it relevant with shoppers who want a used Jeep with a recognisable badge.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2023 Jeep Cherokee or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2023 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2023 if:

• 33.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 15.59% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2023 Cherokee makes the most sense if you want the simplest version of this generation, with later updates and a more straightforward shopping experience. If your priority is value, a nearby year may still be worth comparing, but the 2023 is the cleaner choice when you want the final-year version with a strong mix of usability and capability.
