Used 2023 Hyundai Kona for Sale nearTrenton, ON

How much does the 2023 Hyundai Kona cost?

Prices have softened 11.51% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 531 listings available, which suggests you should have a reasonable amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2023 Hyundai Kona a good car?

Yes — the 5/5 user rating points to strong owner satisfaction. The 2023 Kona stands out for its refreshed styling, larger infotainment touchscreen, standard wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and adaptive cruise control that can bring the vehicle to a complete stop. It also offers a distinctive design and an available turbocharged engine option, which gives you more personality than a basic commuter SUV. With 27.1% of listings marked as good or great deals, you still have some room to shop carefully.

Is the 2023 Hyundai Kona reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The 2023 Kona’s appeal comes from its updated first-generation formula, with improved tech and a strong equipment list for the money. Its compact size and available performance help it stand out, but the cabin is still described as cramped and short on cargo space. For used buyers, that means reliability may be less about mechanical drama and more about whether the vehicle’s packaging and features fit your day-to-day needs over the long term.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2023 Hyundai Kona?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop with some leverage if you stay patient.

• Deal availability: 27.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 531 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 11.51% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $23,287 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2023 Hyundai Kona's resale value?

The current average of $23,304 CAD sits slightly below last year's $26,336 CAD.

That softer pricing can help you buy in at a more attractive level today, but it also means future resale gains may be more limited if the market stays soft. If you plan to sell later, the Kona’s value will depend on how well it holds buyer interest relative to newer alternatives. Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2023 Hyundai Kona or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2023 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2023 if:

• 27.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 11.51% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2022 if:

• At $20,997 CAD, the 2022 costs less than the current year's $23,304 CAD average.
• It adds a refreshed look and more performance.

Consider the 2024 if:

• At $27,291 CAD, the 2024 costs more than the current year's $23,304 CAD average.
• It brings a new generation with updated tech and safety.

The bottom line: The 2023 is the best all-around pick if you want the refreshed Kona formula without paying new-generation pricing. If you’re more price-sensitive, the 2022 is the value play, while the 2024 makes sense if you want the newest design and technology.
