Used 2023 Honda Accord for Sale nearNorth York, ON

How much does the 2023 Honda Accord cost?

Prices have softened 12.75% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 109 listings available, which suggests you should have a reasonable amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2023 Honda Accord a good car?

It’s a strong choice if you want a traditional four-door family car that prioritises driving enjoyment, interior space, and safety, though it is not the most value-focused option in its class. The Accord earns 3.5/5 from users and 6.7/10 from our experts.

The standout strength is Safety at 9/10.

The Accord’s appeal is rooted in the basics that matter most to many buyers: it is fun to drive, has a spacious interior, and earns great safety ratings. At the same time, it does not offer all-wheel drive, a third-row seat, or a big cargo area you can pack to the roof, and its styling is more conservative than adventurous.

Trade-offs include several minor comfort issues and questionable value for the money.

With 33.9% of listings priced as good or great deals, there is some room to shop selectively if you want the right example.

Is the 2023 Honda Accord reliable?

The 2023 Accord is presented as a robust, well-engineered family sedan with a refined chassis and a powertrain that is adequate for everyday use. The structure feels solid, the suspension filters out harshness well, and the car is described as genuinely capable and enjoyable to drive on winding roads.

Honda’s 1.5-litre turbocharged four-cylinder is described as a refined carryover from the previous generation, and the CVT is said to be adequate in normal driving. The car’s braking, steering response, and outward visibility also support an easy ownership experience.

Honda Sensing is described as accurate, refined, and sophisticated, and the Accord’s ADAS graphics make system status easy to understand at a glance. The suite also behaves with more assurance than Hondas of the past.

For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is that this version is positioned as comparatively expensive, so any repair or maintenance surprise could feel more costly than it would in a cheaper rival.

What should I look for when buying a used 2023 Honda Accord?

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The EX is the gas-only version in Canada, and it brings a more technical exterior look, cloth seats with contrast stitching, metal mesh dashboard trim, digital instrumentation, and a touchscreen infotainment system. It is nicely outfitted, but the base setup still feels modest in some areas.
• Powertrain: The standard setup uses a turbocharged 1.5-litre four-cylinder with 192 horsepower and a CVT driving the front wheels. It is adequate rather than quick, and the car is not available with all-wheel drive.
• Safety package: Honda Sensing is standard and includes adaptive cruise control with low-speed follow, traffic-jam assist, forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, lane-departure warning, lane-keeping assist, lane-centring assist, a reversing camera with three views, automatic high-beam headlights, traffic sign recognition, a driver monitoring system, blind-spot monitoring, and rear cross-traffic alert.
• Infotainment: The EX gets a 10.2-inch digital instrument cluster and a 7-inch touchscreen, plus Bluetooth, wired Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, text-messaging support, HondaLink connected services, Wi-Fi access, an SOS emergency call button, and an eight-speaker audio system. SiriusXM satellite radio is not included.
• Fuel efficiency: Natural Resources Canada rates it at 7.3 L/100 km combined, and the test vehicle returned 8.2 L/100 km on the evaluation route.

Which 2023 Honda Accord trim should I buy?

The 2023 Honda Accord is offered in 1 trim level: EX.

Here's the short version:

The EX is the one to focus on if you want the standard gas Accord in Canada. It brings the core Accord strengths — a spacious cabin, strong safety content, and a polished driving feel — without stepping into the hybrid lineup.

The Accord EX is the best fit if you want the standard gas model and can live with its modest tech and comfort compromises. It is the trim that most clearly represents the non-hybrid Accord experience.

Honda Sensing is standard across the lineup, so you do not need to move up for the core safety package.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2023 Honda Accord?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently but should move quickly on the right listing.

• Deal availability: 33.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 109 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 12.75% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $27,515 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2023 Honda Accord's resale value?

The current average of $27,515 CAD sits slightly below last year's $31,535 CAD.

That decline suggests the market has become more favourable for used buyers, but it also means sellers may need to price carefully to stay competitive. If you own one, the Accord’s value has softened enough that timing and condition matter more than ever. For a future seller, a clean history and strong presentation should help offset some of the broader price pressure.

Is the 2023 Honda Accord safe?

The 2023 Accord earns a Top Safety Pick+ rating from IIHS.

It earns a 9/10 safety score from our experts.

Every 2023 Accord has Honda Sensing, which includes adaptive cruise control with low-speed follow, traffic-jam assist, forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, lane-departure warning, lane-keeping assist, lane-centring assist, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, automatic high-beam headlights, traffic sign recognition, a driver monitoring system, and a reversing camera with three views.

The system is described as accurate, refined, and sophisticated, and the Accord’s ADAS graphics make it easy to see what the car is doing. The lane-centring system can waver a bit near highway off-ramps, but overall the safety package is a major strength.

Should I buy a 2023 Honda Accord or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2023 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2023 if:

• 33.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 12.75% compared with last year.
• It is the redesigned 11th-generation Accord, and the expert assessment says it remains an excellent, if comparatively expensive, example of the traditional four-door family car.

The bottom line: If you want the redesigned Accord and value its mix of driving enjoyment, space, and safety, the 2023 is the right year to target. If you are especially price-sensitive, you may want to compare nearby model years and shop for the best-equipped example at the lowest asking price.
