Is now a good time to buy a used 2023 Toyota Camry?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop with some leverage if you stay patient.

• Deal availability: 27.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 158 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 3.68% compared with last year.

What is the 2023 Toyota Camry's resale value?

The current average of $29,056 CAD sits slightly below last year's $30,166 CAD.

That softer pricing can help you buy more confidently now, but it also means future resale gains may be more limited if the market stays steady. For a seller, the current trend suggests you should not expect a big appreciation story from this model year alone. Even so, the Camry’s strong owner satisfaction should help keep demand healthy when it is time to sell.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.9/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2023 Toyota Camry or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2023 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2023 if:

• 27.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 3.68% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.9/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2022 if:

• At $26,779 CAD, the 2022 costs less than the current year's $29,056 CAD average.
• It offers a stylish design that stands out while still working well as a mainstream family sedan.

The bottom line: Choose the 2023 if you want the newer, more modern Camry with strong owner satisfaction and a decent spread of listings to compare. If your priority is spending less up front, the 2022 is the better value-focused path, especially if you like its styling and want to keep your budget tighter.
