Used 2023 Genesis G70 for Sale near Niagara Falls, ON

How much does the 2023 Genesis G70 cost?

Prices have softened 6.52% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 70 listings available, which suggests a modest amount of inventory for shoppers to compare.

Is the 2023 Genesis G70 a good car?

Yes — the 2023 Genesis G70 earns a 4.57/5 user rating and an 8.33/10 expert rating. The model scores 9/10 across Look and feel, Performance, and Safety.

Owners consistently praise its beautiful design, luxurious interior, and strong performance, and they also like the value it offers versus other luxury brands. The G70’s stylish, fun-to-drive character and easy-to-use technology line up well with shoppers who want a compact luxury sedan that feels polished without being overly complicated.

The main trade-offs are its poor fuel economy in V6 form and limited cargo space. That makes it a better fit if you value driving enjoyment and upscale presentation more than maximum practicality.

With 21.4% of listings marked as good or great deals, there is still some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2023 Genesis G70 reliable?

Owners rate it 4.57/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

Owner feedback points to a dependable-feeling ownership experience, with praise for the car’s long-term appeal, strong performance, and luxurious cabin. The expert assessment also highlights a well-rounded, easy-to-live-with package that feels solidly put together.

Genesis also includes five years of scheduled maintenance with at-home vehicle pick-up and delivery, which helps reduce early ownership hassle. For used buyers, the main long-term risk is depreciation rather than obvious durability concerns.

What should I look for when buying a used 2023 Genesis G70?

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The standard car comes with leatherette seating, while higher trims add leather or Nappa leather, plus features such as ventilated front seats, Brembo brakes, and a power sunroof. If you want the most upscale feel, the upper trims are where the cabin starts to feel more special.
• Powertrain: You can choose between a 2.0-litre turbocharged four-cylinder and a 3.3-litre twin-turbo V6. The V6 is much quicker, but it also uses more fuel.
• Safety package: Standard equipment includes forward-collision warning, automatic emergency braking, lane-keep assist, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, adaptive cruise control, a driver-attention monitor, automatic high beams, rear-seat reminder, safe-exit assist, and Highway Driving Assist. Upper trims add front and rear park distance control, rain-sensing wipers, and a blind-spot view camera system.
• Infotainment: You get a 10.25-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, plus Bluetooth and SiriusXM. Wireless smartphone mirroring is not included, and the car does not have a fully digital instrument cluster.
• Fuel efficiency: The four-cylinder is rated at 11.4 L/100 km city, 8.2 highway, and 10.0 combined. The V6 is rated at 13.5 L/100 km city, 9.1 highway, and 11.5 combined.

Which 2023 Genesis G70 trim should I buy?

The 2023 Genesis G70 is offered in 5 trim levels: Select, Advanced, Prestige, Advanced, Sport.

Here's the short version:

• Select: This is the entry point and the best-value starting place if you want the G70’s core style, standard all-wheel drive, and strong safety equipment without stretching the budget.
• Advanced: This is the trim to target if you want a more balanced mix of equipment and value, especially if you plan to step up from the base car without going all the way to the top.
• Prestige: Choose this if you want a more upscale cabin and more of the luxury touches that make the G70 feel special day to day.
• Advanced: On the V6 side, this is the starting point for buyers who want the stronger engine and are willing to pay for it.
• Sport: This is the most performance-focused version, and it suits you best if you want the quickest G70 with the richest equipment content.

Safety equipment is generous across the lineup, but some convenience and camera-based features are reserved for upper trims.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2023 Genesis G70?

This is a moderate market for selective buyers, so it makes sense to compare listings carefully and move quickly on strong examples.

• Deal availability: 21.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 70 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 6.52% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $36,190 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2023 Genesis G70's resale value?

The current average of $37,473 CAD sits slightly below last year's $40,089 CAD.

That softer pricing suggests the market has become a little more buyer-friendly, which can work against sellers in the short term. If you own one, you may need to price it competitively to stand out, especially because shoppers can compare against a decent number of listings.

At the same time, the G70’s strong styling, performance, and luxury appeal help keep it relevant in a crowded segment. Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.57/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2023 Genesis G70 safe?

The 2023 G70 earns the IIHS’s highest Top Safety Pick+ award.

It earns a 9/10 safety score from our experts.

Standard safety equipment includes forward-collision warning, automatic emergency braking, lane-keep assist, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, adaptive cruise control, a driver-attention monitor, automatic high beams, rear-seat reminder, safe-exit assist, and Highway Driving Assist. Upper trims add front and rear park distance control, rain-sensing wipers, and a blind-spot view camera system.

One caveat is that Highway Driving Assist is meant for highway use only and still requires you to keep your hands on the wheel. The system is helpful, but it is not a hands-free setup.

Should I buy a 2023 Genesis G70 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2023 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2023 if:

• 21.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 6.52% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.57/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• It carries over the refreshed 2022 design and equipment without adding redesign risk.

Consider the 2022 if:

• At $31,253 CAD, the 2022 costs less than the current year's $37,473 CAD average.
• It brings the refreshed styling and improved infotainment update.

Consider the 2024 if:

• At $41,102 CAD, the 2024 costs more than the current year's $37,473 CAD average.
• It adds a new, more powerful base engine.

The bottom line: The 2023 is the sensible pick if you want the current-look G70 with strong safety, good owner satisfaction, and a softer used-market price than newer examples. If your priority is saving money, the 2022 is the better value play; if you want the newest powertrain and can spend more, the 2024 is the upgrade path.
