Used 2023 Genesis G70 for Sale near Ontario

How much does the 2023 Genesis G70 cost?

Prices have softened 8.39% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 75 listings available, which suggests a reasonable amount of inventory for shoppers comparing options.

Is the 2023 Genesis G70 a good car?

Yes — the 2023 Genesis G70 earns a 4.6/5 user rating and an 8.3/10 expert rating. The model scores 9/10 across Look and feel, Performance, and Safety.

Owners consistently praise its beautiful design, strong performance, and value compared with other luxury brands, and they also highlight its luxurious interior and powerful handling. For buyers who want a small luxury sedan that feels stylish and well rounded, that combination is a strong fit.

The main trade-offs are poor fuel economy with the V6 and limited cargo space. It suits you best if you want a compact luxury sedan with a sporty personality and everyday usability rather than maximum practicality.

Only 24.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals, so the market still rewards careful shopping.

Is the 2023 Genesis G70 reliable?

Owners rate it 4.6/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

Owner feedback points to a car that feels dependable in daily use, with a reputation for being a model people can count on over time. The expert review also describes it as a good value with a solid chassis and a well-executed, easy-to-use package, which supports confidence in long-term ownership.

Genesis includes five years of scheduled maintenance with at-home vehicle pick-up and delivery, which helps reduce early ownership hassle. For used buyers, the main long-term risk is that depreciation and resale value have been a concern for some owners.

What should I look for when buying a used 2023 Genesis G70?

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: Four-cylinder models are available in Select, Advanced, and Prestige trim levels, while V6 models start at Advanced and top out with the Sport trim level. The base car already includes heated front seats, a heated steering wheel, a power sunroof, and an auto-dimming rearview mirror, but higher trims add leather seats, Nappa leather, Brembo brakes, ventilated front seats, and other upscale touches.
• Powertrain: You can choose between a 2.0-litre turbocharged four-cylinder and a 3.3-litre twin-turbocharged V6. The eight-speed automatic is standard, and the V6 is the quicker option, but it also uses more fuel.
• Safety package: Standard equipment includes forward-collision warning, automatic emergency braking, lane-keep assist, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, adaptive cruise control, a driver-attention monitor, automatic high beams, rear-seat reminder, safe-exit assist, and Highway Driving Assist. Upper trims add front and rear park distance control, rain-sensing wipers, and a blind-spot view camera system.
• Infotainment: The standard system uses a 10.25-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, plus Bluetooth and SiriusXM satellite radio. Wireless smartphone mirroring is not available, and the car does not get a fully digital instrument cluster.
• Fuel efficiency: The four-cylinder is rated at 11.4 L/100 km in city driving, 8.2 L/100 km on the highway, and 10.0 combined. The V6 is rated at 13.5 L/100 km city, 9.1 highway, and 11.5 combined.

Which 2023 Genesis G70 trim should I buy?

The 2023 Genesis G70 is offered in 6 trim levels: Select, Advanced, Prestige, Advanced, Sport, and Sport.

Here's the short version:

• Select: This is the entry point, and it makes the most sense if you want the G70’s core style, standard all-wheel drive, and strong safety equipment without stretching the budget.
• Advanced: This is the best-value choice for many shoppers because it opens the door to more equipment while staying below the top trims.
• Prestige: Choose this if you want a more upscale feel and are willing to pay for extra comfort and convenience features.
• Advanced: On the V6 side, this is the starting point if you want the stronger engine and are willing to move up from the base four-cylinder setup.
• Sport: This is the trim for buyers who want the most performance-focused version, along with the richest equipment list and the most premium feel.

The standard safety package is already generous, but upper trims add useful extras such as park distance control and the blind-spot view camera system.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2023 Genesis G70?

This is a moderate market for selective buyers, so it rewards comparison shopping and quick action on well-priced listings.

• Deal availability: 24.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 75 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 8.39% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $36,227 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2023 Genesis G70's resale value?

The current average of $37,016 CAD sits slightly below last year's $40,408 CAD.

That decline suggests the market has become a little softer for sellers, which can make it harder to recover as much of your purchase price later. If you buy now, the lower current average may help you enter at a more favourable point than buyers did a year ago.

The year-round range also shows that pricing can move meaningfully depending on trim, condition, and equipment. Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.6/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2023 Genesis G70 safe?

The 2023 G70 earns the IIHS's highest Top Safety Pick+ award.

It earns a 9/10 safety score from our experts.

Standard driver-assistance features include forward-collision warning, automatic emergency braking, lane-keep assist, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, adaptive cruise control, a driver-attention monitor, automatic high beams, rear-seat reminder, and safe-exit assist. Highway Driving Assist is also standard, combining adaptive cruise control with automated lane centring.

Upper trims add front and rear park distance control, rain-sensing wipers, and a blind-spot view camera system. The main caveat is that the lane-centring system can feel less smooth than some rivals, and the blind-spot camera view is limited by the car’s non-digital instrument cluster.

Should I buy a 2023 Genesis G70 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2023 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2023 if:

• 24.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 8.39% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.6/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• It carries over the 2022 update unchanged, so you get the refreshed design and equipment without waiting for a redesign.

Consider the 2022 if:

• At $31,193 CAD, the 2022 costs less than the current year's $37,016 CAD average.
• It brings the refreshed styling and improved infotainment system.

Consider the 2024 if:

• At $40,697 CAD, the 2024 costs more than the current year's $37,016 CAD average.
• It adds a new, more powerful base engine.

The bottom line: If you want the best balance of price, current styling, and strong owner satisfaction, the 2023 is the sensible pick. If your priority is spending less, the 2022 is the value alternative; if you want the newest powertrain, the 2024 is the upgrade path.
