How much does the 2025 Genesis G70 cost?
| Metric | Value |
|---|---|
| Current Average Price | $44,849 CAD |
| Year-Round Low | $42,469 CAD |
| Year-Round High | $58,206 CAD |
| Average Price a Year Ago | $54,844 CAD |
| Change vs. Last Year | −18.22% |
Prices have softened 18.22% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.
There are 57 listings available, which suggests a modest amount of inventory to compare before you buy.
Is the 2025 Genesis G70 a good car?
The 2025 Genesis G70 is a moderate-market choice, and the available pricing data points to a model that may appeal if you want a premium sedan with some room to negotiate. With an average price of $44,849 CAD and a year-over-year decline of 18.22%, it sits in a more buyer-friendly position than it did a year ago.
The market also shows 19.3% of listings as good or great deals, which gives you a useful pool of stronger-value options to consider.
Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Genesis G70?
Now looks like a selective buyer’s market, especially if you are willing to compare listings carefully and move quickly on the right one.
- Deal availability: 19.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
- Inventory: There are 57 listings available.
- Price trend: Prices have softened 18.22% compared with last year.
If you find a listing below $42,469 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.
What is the 2025 Genesis G70's resale value?
The current average of $44,849 CAD sits slightly below last year's $54,844 CAD.
That price movement suggests the model has become more accessible in the used market, which can help you buy at a better entry point today. For a future seller, it also means resale value may depend heavily on condition, mileage, and how well your specific car stands out against the current inventory. If you keep the car well maintained and price it competitively, you should be in a better position to attract buyers.
Should I buy a 2025 Genesis G70 or consider a different year?
If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:
Choose the 2025 if:
- 19.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
- Price trend: Prices have softened 18.22% compared with last year.
Consider the 2024 if:
- At $40,987 CAD, the 2024 costs less than the current year's $44,849 CAD average.
- It offers strong handling and a premium feel.
The 2025 makes sense if you want to shop a market with more discount opportunities and a softer price trend. If your priority is spending less upfront, the 2024 is the better value path, especially if you find one in strong condition.
These recommendations are based on CarGurus' proprietary market data from September 29, 2026, CarGurus experts' opinions, and generative AI.
