Used 2023 Mercedes-Benz C-Class for SaleNationwide

How much does the 2023 Mercedes-Benz C-Class cost?

Prices have softened 8.47% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 185 listings available, which suggests you have a decent amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2023 Mercedes-Benz C-Class a good car?

Yes — the 5/5 user rating points to strong owner satisfaction, and the C-Class brings an upscale feel to the compact luxury segment. In Canada, its standard 4Matic all-wheel drive, mild-hybrid powertrain, and S-Class-inspired cabin make it appealing if you want a small luxury sedan that feels polished and modern. The 45.9% share of good and great deals also suggests there are worthwhile listings in the market.

Is the 2023 Mercedes-Benz C-Class reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The C-Class also has a strong safety record, with IIHS Top Safety Pick or Top Safety Pick+ recognition every year it has been on sale. For used buyers, that combination of owner approval and safety credibility lowers the sense of long-term ownership risk, though you should still check maintenance history and feature operation carefully.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2023 Mercedes-Benz C-Class?

It looks like a buyer’s market for this model year, especially if you are comparing listings carefully.

• Deal availability: 45.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 185 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 8.47% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $47,865 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2023 Mercedes-Benz C-Class's resale value?

The current average of $47,904 CAD sits slightly below last year's $52,334 CAD.

That softer pricing can be good news if you are buying now, but it also means a future seller may face more competition if the market stays well supplied. The C-Class still has a premium image and strong demand from shoppers who want a compact luxury sedan with a polished cabin and standard all-wheel drive in Canada. Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2023 Mercedes-Benz C-Class or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2023 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2023 if:

• 45.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 8.47% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2022 if:

• At $41,081 CAD, the 2022 costs less than the current year's $47,904 CAD average.
• The 2022 offers a more upmarket feel with standard all-wheel drive and strong technology.

The bottom line: Choose the 2023 if you want the stronger current-market mix of inventory, deal availability, and owner satisfaction. If your priority is saving money upfront, the 2022 is the better value-focused alternative.
