What should I look for when buying a used 2022 Lincoln Nautilus?

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The Canadian market centres on the Reserve trim, and the cabin presentation is a major part of the appeal. Look closely at interior finish quality, because the review notes that some chrome-plated plastic pieces and the centre console can feel a little cheap compared with the rest of the luxury ambience.
• Powertrain: You get a turbocharged 2.0-litre four-cylinder with 250 horsepower and 280 pound-feet of torque, plus an available twin-turbocharged 2.7-litre V6 with 335 hp and 380 lb-ft of torque. The V6 brings stronger passing power and a more relaxed feel, while the standard engine is the efficiency-oriented choice.
• Safety package: Every model includes Lincoln Co-Pilot360 1.0 with forward-collision warning with pedestrian detection, automatic emergency braking, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, lane-departure warning, lane-keeping assist, and automatic high-beam headlights. Black Label adds Co-Pilot360 1.0 Plus with adaptive cruise control, lane-centring assistance, evasive steering assist, a surround-view camera system, and rear parking sensors.
• Infotainment: The Nautilus uses a 13.2-inch touchscreen with Sync 4, a 12.3-inch digital instrument display, over-the-air updates, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, Bluetooth, Lincoln Connect, a Wi-Fi hotspot, SiriusXM 360L, and available connected navigation. It also offers wireless charging and Phone as a Key.
• Fuel efficiency: The V6 is rated at 11.2 L/100 km combined, 12.6 L/100 km in the city, and 9.3 L/100 km on the highway.

• Deal availability: 27.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 116 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 17.34% compared with last year.

What is the 2022 Lincoln Nautilus's resale value?

The current average of $32,841 CAD sits slightly below last year's $39,731 CAD.

That price movement suggests the Nautilus has already absorbed a meaningful amount of depreciation, which can be helpful if you are buying now but less ideal if you are planning to sell soon. For a future seller, the softer market means you may need to price competitively to stand out, especially if similar listings remain plentiful.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.6/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2022 Lincoln Nautilus or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2022 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2022 if:

• 27.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 17.34% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.6/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• The 2022 model benefits from Lincoln’s continuous improvement programme, so it feels like a well-developed version of this generation rather than a neglected one.

The bottom line: If you want a used Nautilus with a strong mix of comfort, style, and technology, the 2022 is a sensible choice. If your priority is stretching your budget further, a nearby model year may offer a lower entry price, but the 2022 remains the better-balanced pick for shoppers who value a more polished luxury feel.
