Used 2022 Jeep Cherokee for Sale nearNewmarket, ON

How much does the 2022 Jeep Cherokee cost?

Prices have softened 18.18% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 338 listings available, which gives you a decent amount of choice if you're comparing trims and equipment.

Is the 2022 Jeep Cherokee a good car?

Yes — the 2022 Jeep Cherokee earns a 5/5 user rating, which is a strong sign that shoppers are happy with it. Owners consistently praise its strong performance, comfortable ride, and desirable features, and many also like its responsive handling and classic style. For you, that makes it a sensible pick if you want a compact SUV with Jeep character, all-weather traction, and a more feature-rich setup than earlier versions of this generation. With 32.0% of listings marked as good or great deals, there is still some market flexibility if you shop carefully.

Is the 2022 Jeep Cherokee reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback points to a vehicle that feels dependable in day-to-day use, with reviews emphasising positive ownership experiences rather than recurring complaints. That said, the broader model history still suggests you should pay close attention to maintenance records and test-drive behaviour before buying. For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is making sure you avoid a poorly maintained example.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2022 Jeep Cherokee?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer's market, so you can shop patiently but should move quickly when a strong listing appears.

• Deal availability: 32.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 338 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 18.18% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $26,596 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2022 Jeep Cherokee's resale value?

The current average of $26,596 CAD sits slightly below last year's $32,504 CAD.

That price movement suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can make the Cherokee easier to buy now but may also limit upside if you plan to resell soon. If you purchase at the current average or below, your future depreciation risk is likely more manageable than if you overpay near the top of the range. Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2022 Jeep Cherokee or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2022 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2022 if:

• 32.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 18.18% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2022 is the better choice if you want a more complete Cherokee with strong owner approval, a solid feature set, and a market that currently favours careful shoppers. If your priority is stretching your budget further, a nearby year may be worth comparing, but the 2022 is the cleaner pick when you want the newer equipment and a stronger overall ownership impression.
