The 2022 Jeep Cherokee stands out as a compact SUV that still leans into Jeep’s identity, even as it moved in a much softer direction than the brand’s older off-road models. By this point in the third generation, it offered a mix of everyday usability and trail-ready hardware that helped separate it from more ordinary crossovers.
