Is the 2022 Dodge Durango a good car?

Yes — the 2022 Dodge Durango earns a 4.9/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. Owners consistently praise its powerful performance, smooth ride, and spacious interior, and many also like its stylish design and high-tech features. That fits well if you want a midsize SUV with genuine family usefulness and a more muscular personality than many rivals. Owners rate it 4.9/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

Reviewers describe it as dependable and trouble-free in everyday use, with many owners feeling confident about its long-term ownership experience. For used buyers, the main long-term risk is that condition and maintenance history matter a lot, so a careful inspection is still important.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2022 Dodge Durango?

It’s a moderate market, so you can shop patiently and still find worthwhile opportunities if you compare listings carefully.

• Deal availability: 34.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 353 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 9.26% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $37,539 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2022 Dodge Durango's resale value?

The current average of $37,539 CAD sits slightly below last year's $41,370 CAD.

That softer pricing suggests the Durango has become a bit more accessible on the used market, which can help you buy in at a more favourable point. For a future seller, that also means resale value may depend more heavily on condition, trim, and maintenance records than on broad market momentum alone. Because prices have eased, a well-kept example should stand out more clearly to shoppers.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.9/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2022 Dodge Durango or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2022 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2022 if:

• 34.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 9.26% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.9/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2021 if:

• At $32,791 CAD, the 2021 costs less than the current year's $37,539 CAD average.
• It adds a compelling mix of family space and stronger performance updates.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $42,450 CAD, the 2023 costs more than the current year's $37,539 CAD average.
• It adds standard heated front seats, a heated steering wheel, and more colour choices.

The bottom line: The 2022 is the best all-around pick if you want a balanced mix of price, availability, and owner satisfaction. If your priority is saving money, the 2021 is the smarter value play; if you want newer features and are willing to pay more, the 2023 is the upgrade path.
