Should I buy a 2022 Dodge Durango or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2022 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2022 if:

• 33.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 9.12% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.9/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2021 if:

• At $32,660 CAD, the 2021 costs less than the current year's $37,615 CAD average.
• It adds a new infotainment system and available Hellcat performance.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $42,433 CAD, the 2023 costs more than the current year's $37,615 CAD average.
• It adds standard heated front seats and a heated steering wheel.

The bottom line: The 2022 is the best all-around pick if you want a well-liked Durango with a softer used price than the 2023 and stronger value than many newer alternatives. If your priority is saving money, the 2021 is the better budget path, while the 2023 makes sense if you want the newer comfort upgrades and are willing to pay more.
