Used 2021 Jeep Cherokee for Sale near Niagara Falls, ON

How much does the 2021 Jeep Cherokee cost?

Prices have softened 16.81% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 390 listings available, which gives you a solid amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2021 Jeep Cherokee a good car?

Yes — the 4.8/5 user rating points to strong owner satisfaction. Drivers commonly praise its great value, smooth ride, and numerous safety features, while also appreciating the advanced technology and off-road capability, especially in Trailhawk form. For you, that makes it a sensible pick if you want a compact SUV with everyday usability and genuine Jeep character. With 30.5% of listings marked as good or great deals, there is still meaningful market opportunity if you shop carefully.

Is the 2021 Jeep Cherokee reliable?

Owners rate it 4.8/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

Drivers’ feedback also points to a dependable ownership experience for many shoppers, with praise centred on its smooth ride and overall value. At the same time, some owners mention construction issues, so you should inspect any used example carefully and review its maintenance history before committing. For long-term ownership, the main risk is buying a poorly maintained example rather than the model’s basic appeal.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2021 Jeep Cherokee?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can afford to compare listings and wait for the right one.

• Deal availability: 30.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 390 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 16.81% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $23,088 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2021 Jeep Cherokee's resale value?

The current average of $23,088 CAD sits slightly below last year's $27,755 CAD.

That price movement suggests the Cherokee has become more accessible for used buyers, but it also means future sellers may need to price competitively to stand out. If you buy at the current average or below, you may have less downside risk than someone who paid closer to last year’s higher market level. The model’s broad appeal and steady demand should help support resale, especially for well-kept examples with desirable equipment.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.8/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2021 Jeep Cherokee or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2021 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2021 if:

• 30.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 16.81% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.8/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2021 Cherokee makes the most sense if you want a used compact SUV with strong owner approval, useful practicality, and Jeep character at a softer price than last year. If you are especially price-sensitive, you can also use the current market to compare nearby model years and focus on the best-equipped, best-priced example rather than buying the first one you see.
