Why it stands out
The 2021 Ford F-350 Super Duty stands out because it combines serious heavy-duty capability with a level of technology and comfort that would have been unusual in a truck of this size not long ago. Ford’s fourth-generation Super Duty was introduced for the 2017 model year, and by 2021 it was already benefiting from the generation’s aluminium-intensive construction, which made it more than 300 kilograms lighter on average without sacrificing towing capacity. That lighter body helped the truck feel more modern, while the available driver-assistance and safety equipment, including blind-spot monitoring, forward collision avoidance, adaptive cruise control, lane departure warnings, and a surround-view camera system with seven cameras, made it easier to live with and easier to use for towing.
Powertrain choice is another major part of the appeal. For 2021, the F-350 Super Duty could be had with the 7.3-litre “Godzilla” gas V8 or the 6.7-litre Power Stroke diesel, and the diesel was the stronger towing option. The truck could tow up to 9,900 kilograms with a conventional hitch and just under 16,000 kilograms with a fifth-wheel setup, while payload ratings could reach as high as 3,460 kilograms in rear-drive regular and SuperCab models. Inside, the available SYNC 3 touchscreen infotainment system and MyFord Touch system were paired with 8.0-inch and 12.0-inch displays in most trims, giving the cabin a more up-to-date feel than older heavy-duty pickups.
It is not a perfect all-rounder, though. The same generation’s strengths in capability and equipment come with a truck that is still expensive, and the ride can be rough when the bed is empty. Even so, for buyers who need a true workhorse and want modern convenience features along with it, the 2021 Ford F-350 Super Duty offers a compelling mix of brute strength, technology, and everyday usability.

Its a great truck for pulling trailers, eith fith wheel or conventional. Due to its large size, not very good it tights spaces. It needs to work. Short daily trips tend to make it regenerate the DPF very often
