Is the 2021 Ford F-350 Super Duty reliable?

Owners rate it 4.4/5, a solid signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback points to a truck that feels dependable in day-to-day use, with many drivers describing it as strong, capable, and satisfying over longer ownership. That kind of feedback matters for a heavy-duty pickup, where you want a truck you can count on for towing and hauling without constant concern. For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is paying too much for a truck that may be more capability than you actually need.

Should I buy a 2021 Ford F-350 Super Duty or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2021 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2021 if:

• 26.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 13.74% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.4/5 — a solid satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2020 if:

• At $57,441 CAD, the 2020 costs less than the current year's $57,870 CAD average.
• It offers broad versatility across trims and uses.

The bottom line: Choose the 2021 if you want the stronger value signal from softer pricing and a solid owner satisfaction profile. If your priority is saving a bit more upfront, the 2020 is the better secondary path, especially if you want a flexible heavy-duty truck without stretching to the current-year average.
