Is the 2023 Ford F-350 Super Duty a good car?

Yes — 5/5 is a strong user rating for the 2023 Ford F-350 Super Duty, and the truck’s overview backs that up with a clear focus on serious towing and hauling capability. It is built for buyers who need maximum work-ready strength, but it also adds modern convenience features that make a big heavy-duty pickup easier to live with. With 31.7% of listings marked as good or great deals, there is meaningful market availability to shop from.

Is the 2023 Ford F-350 Super Duty reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The overview describes this generation as a truck built on a redesigned frame with heavier-hitting powertrains and a more contemporary cabin, which points to a model engineered for hard use as well as everyday usability. For used buyers, that kind of design focus matters because a heavy-duty truck that is expected to tow and haul regularly needs to hold up under sustained strain. Long-term ownership risk is still tied to how hard the truck was worked, so a careful inspection is especially important on used examples.

What is the 2023 Ford F-350 Super Duty's resale value?

The current average of $74,374 CAD sits slightly below last year's $79,484 CAD.

That softer pricing can help you buy more truck for the money today, but it also means a future seller may face a more competitive resale environment if prices continue to ease. Even so, the model’s strong capability and modern equipment should help it stay attractive to buyers who need a serious heavy-duty pickup. Trucks with broad utility and strong demand in the used market often hold attention well, especially when they are configured for towing and hauling.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2023 Ford F-350 Super Duty or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2023 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2023 if:

• 31.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 6.43% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: If you want the strongest mix of modern capability, towing-focused technology, and current-market pricing, the 2023 is the primary year to target. If you are more price-sensitive, a nearby year may be worth considering, but the 2023 stands out as the better all-around choice when you want a heavy-duty truck that feels more contemporary without losing its work-first character.
