Used 2020 Hyundai Tucson for Sale nearEdmonton, AB

How much does the 2020 Hyundai Tucson cost?

Prices have softened 15.63% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 440 listings available, which suggests you should have a reasonable amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2020 Hyundai Tucson a good car?

Yes — the 2020 Hyundai Tucson earns a 4.67/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. Owners consistently praise its spacious interior, smooth ride, and extensive tech features, and they also highlight its safety equipment and value for money. For you, that makes it a sensible fit if you want a compact SUV that prioritises everyday usability, comfort, and equipment over sporty performance. With 30.5% of listings marked as good or great deals, there is still some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2020 Hyundai Tucson reliable?

Owners rate it 4.67/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The review summary also points to a vehicle that owners see as dependable in daily use, with praise centred on its trouble-free feel, comfort, and value over the long term. That said, some shoppers do mention minor annoyances, so you should still check the condition and service history carefully before buying. For used buyers, the main ownership risk is less about a broad reliability red flag and more about finding a well-kept example that has been maintained properly.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2020 Hyundai Tucson?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop with some leverage if you are patient and compare listings carefully.

• Deal availability: 30.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 440 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 15.63% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $18,244 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2020 Hyundai Tucson's resale value?

The current average of $18,290 CAD sits slightly below last year's $21,677 CAD.

That price movement suggests the Tucson has become more accessible on the used market, which can help you buy at a lower entry point today. For a future seller, though, it also means you should expect resale pricing to reflect the softer market rather than the stronger levels seen a year ago. Even so, a model with broad appeal and solid equipment tends to stay relevant with shoppers who want value and practicality. Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.67/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2020 Hyundai Tucson or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2020 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2020 if:

• 30.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 15.63% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.67/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: If you want a well-equipped compact SUV with strong owner approval, the 2020 Tucson is the year to focus on. It makes the most sense if your priority is value, comfort, and everyday practicality. If you are especially price-sensitive, you can also compare nearby model years to see whether a similar Tucson offers a better asking price or a better-equipped listing for the money.
