Is the 2019 Mazda CX-9 a good car?

Yes — the 4.6/5 user rating points to strong owner satisfaction. Is the 2019 Mazda CX-9 reliable?

Owners rate it 4.6/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback points to a dependable, trouble-free ownership experience for many drivers, especially those who value a vehicle they can count on over the long term. Is now a good time to buy a used 2019 Mazda CX-9?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can be choosy without expecting deep discounts on every listing.

• Deal availability: 34.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which gives you a decent chance of finding a competitive offer.
• Inventory: There are 85 listings available, so you have enough selection to compare condition, mileage, and equipment.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.93% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $21,411 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2019 Mazda CX-9's resale value?

The current average of $21,411 CAD sits slightly below last year's $24,038 CAD.

That price movement suggests the CX-9 has become more accessible for used buyers, which can help support demand in the near term. For a future seller, it also means your resale outcome will depend heavily on condition, mileage, and equipment, because the market has already adjusted downward. If you buy well now and keep the vehicle in strong shape, you may be better positioned when it is time to sell.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.6/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2019 Mazda CX-9 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2019 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2019 if:

• 34.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.

The bottom line: If you want the CX-9’s blend of style, premium feel, and engaging road manners, the 2019 is a strong place to start.
