Is now a good time to buy a used 2019 Lexus RX?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully and still find worthwhile options.

• Deal availability: 39.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 103 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.69% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $33,607 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2019 Lexus RX's resale value?

The current average of $33,607 CAD sits slightly below last year's $37,629 CAD.

That softer pricing can be helpful if you're buying now, but it also means a future seller may face a more competitive market if prices stay under pressure. Even so, the RX’s reputation for comfort and reliability helps support demand among used luxury SUV shoppers. Its broad appeal should continue to give it a respectable position in the resale market.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2019 Lexus RX or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2019 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2019 if:

• 39.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.69% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2020 if:

• At $38,794 CAD, the 2020 costs more than the current year's $33,607 CAD average.
• It adds two-row or three-row flexibility.

The bottom line: Choose the 2019 if you want the better value and are focused on comfort, reliability, and a lower entry price. Consider the 2020 if you want the added seating flexibility and are willing to pay more for it.
