Yes — the 4.67/5 user rating points to strong owner satisfaction. You’ll also see recurring praise for its comfort, smooth ride, spacious interior, and feature content, with many owners highlighting the V6’s performance and the model’s value for money. For you, that makes it a sensible pick if you want a used SUV with a more mainstream look than earlier versions, plus useful tech and a practical cabin. Is the 2019 Jeep Cherokee reliable?

Owners rate it 4.67/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback points to a vehicle that many drivers find dependable in day-to-day use, with comfort and value helping support confidence over time. At the same time, some shoppers noted tech issues and missing features on lower trims, so you should pay close attention to equipment and how everything functions on a test drive. For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is making sure the specific vehicle you choose has been well maintained and free of unresolved issues.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2019 Jeep Cherokee?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can be patient and compare listings before committing.

• Deal availability: 29.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 428 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 15.93% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $17,722 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2019 Jeep Cherokee's resale value?

The current average of $17,835 CAD sits slightly below last year's $21,215 CAD.

That price movement suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can make the vehicle easier to buy now but may also limit upside if you plan to sell soon. If you’re a future seller, the softer pricing means you may need to be more competitive on condition, mileage, and equipment to stand out. On the other hand, the Cherokee’s strong owner satisfaction can help keep demand steady among shoppers looking for a comfortable, well-equipped used SUV.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.67/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2019 Jeep Cherokee or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2019 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2019 if:

• 29.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 15.93% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.67/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: If you want the Cherokee with the refreshed styling, standard 7-inch touchscreen, and a more practical cabin, the 2019 is the year to target. If your priority is simply the lowest possible purchase price, you can also compare nearby years, but the 2019 gives you a strong mix of updated features and market value that makes it the better all-around choice for most shoppers.
