How much does the 2019 Acura TLX cost?

Is the 2019 Acura TLX a good car?

Yes — the 2019 Acura TLX earns a 4.8/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction.

Drivers consistently praise its luxury feel, strong performance, and value compared with other luxury vehicles. The model also appeals if you want a premium sport sedan that feels more substantial than a compact luxury car while still aiming to stay engaging to drive.

With 31.8% of listings marked as good or great deals, you have a decent chance of finding a competitive offer.

Is the 2019 Acura TLX reliable?

Owners rate it 4.8/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

User feedback highlights reliability, comfort, and a trouble-free ownership experience for many drivers. That said, the model’s reputation is tempered by concerns around the nine-speed automatic, so you should pay close attention to service history and how the transmission behaves on a test drive.

For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is making sure the car has been maintained carefully enough to avoid expensive surprises.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2019 Acura TLX?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently and still find worthwhile listings.

• Deal availability: 31.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 66 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 13.62% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $21,557 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2019 Acura TLX's resale value?

The current average of $21,680 CAD sits slightly below last year's $25,098 CAD.

That softer pricing suggests the TLX has already absorbed a meaningful amount of depreciation, which can help future sellers if the market stabilises. If you buy at the right price now, you may have less downside left than a shopper entering when prices were higher. Strong demand for well-kept examples should also help support resale performance.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.8/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2019 Acura TLX or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2019 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2019 if:

• 31.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 13.62% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.8/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2018 if:

• At $19,906 CAD, the 2018 costs less than the current year's $21,680 CAD average.
• It adds a refreshed look, quicker infotainment, and more standard safety.

Consider the 2020 if:

• At $25,340 CAD, the 2020 costs more than the current year's $21,680 CAD average.
• It offers a more engaging drive with SH-AWD and broader powertrain choice.

The bottom line: The 2019 is the best all-around pick if you want a balance of value, satisfaction, and current market softness. If price is your top priority, the 2018 is the smarter buy; if you want to spend more for a newer-feeling option, the 2020 is the step up to compare.
