Is now a good time to buy a used 2019 Acura MDX?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so it makes sense to shop carefully and compare listings.

• Deal availability: 26.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 103 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 12.34% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $27,021 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2019 Acura MDX's resale value?

The current average of $27,828 CAD sits slightly below last year's $31,745 CAD.

That softer pricing suggests the MDX has already absorbed some of its depreciation, which can help future sellers if the market stabilises. If you buy at the right price and keep the vehicle in strong condition, you may have a better chance of limiting further value loss. Demand should remain supported by the model’s comfort, practicality, and owner satisfaction.

Vehicles with solid owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.4/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2019 Acura MDX or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2019 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2019 if:

• 26.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 12.34% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.4/5 — a solid satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2020 if:

• At $30,240 CAD, the 2020 costs more than the current year's $27,828 CAD average.
• It adds a broader reputation for safety and practicality.

The bottom line: The 2019 is the better pick if you want a lower entry price and strong owner satisfaction in a three-row luxury SUV. If you can stretch for a newer model and want a more up-to-date overall package, the 2020 is worth a look; if price matters most, the 2019 remains the smarter value play.
