Vehicles with solid owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.4/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2019 Acura MDX or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2019 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2019 if:

• 29.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 11.06% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.4/5 — a solid satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2020 if:

• At $29,865 CAD, the 2020 costs more than the current year's $28,049 CAD average.
• It adds a more loyal repeat-audience appeal.

The bottom line:
Choose the 2019 if you want the lower average price and a decent chance of finding a deal. If you can stretch your budget, the 2020 is the better secondary path for shoppers who want to compare against a newer model year, but the 2019 remains the smarter value play for price-sensitive buyers.
