Is now a good time to buy a used 2019 Acura MDX?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop with some leverage if you stay patient.

• Deal availability: 28.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 96 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 12.68% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $27,022 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2019 Acura MDX's resale value?

The current average of $27,850 CAD sits slightly below last year's $31,893 CAD.

That price drop suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can make resale planning a little less favourable if you buy at the wrong point. If you own one for several years, the softer pricing trend may limit how much value you recover later unless you buy well today. Strong owner satisfaction can help support demand, but the current market still favours buyers more than sellers.

Vehicles with solid owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.44/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2019 Acura MDX or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2019 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2019 if:

• 28.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 12.68% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.44/5 — a solid satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2020 if:

• At $29,809 CAD, the 2020 costs more than the current year's $27,850 CAD average.
• It adds broader appeal with a more polished family-focused package.

The bottom line:
Choose the 2019 if you want the better value play and are comfortable shopping the used market carefully. If you can stretch for the 2020, it may be the better pick for buyers who want the newer-year alternative and are less focused on upfront price.
