How much does the 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee cost?

There are 312 listings available, which suggests a healthy amount of inventory for you to compare.

Is the 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee a good car?

Yes — the 4.74/5 user rating points to strong owner satisfaction. Drivers consistently praise its strong performance, comfortable ride, and luxurious features, while also highlighting the spacious interior and impressive technology. It also fits well if you want an SUV that can handle rough conditions without giving up everyday comfort, and the available off-road capability adds to its appeal. With 34.9% of listings marked as good or great deals, you have a decent chance of finding a competitive offer.

Is the 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee reliable?

Owners rate it 4.74/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The user feedback points to a vehicle that many owners find dependable in day-to-day use, with praise centred on comfort, performance, and features that hold up well over time. That said, the model’s story also includes some concern around fuel economy and pricing, so you should still inspect maintenance records carefully.

For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is less about outright satisfaction and more about making sure the specific example you choose has been maintained properly.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop with some leverage if you’re patient and compare listings carefully.

• Deal availability: 34.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 312 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 14.84% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $20,569 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee's resale value?

The current average of $20,619 CAD sits slightly below last year's $24,212 CAD.

That price movement suggests the market has cooled, which can make the model easier to buy now but may also limit upside for a future seller if values continue to soften. If you plan to resell later, buying at the lower end of the range matters more because your eventual return will depend heavily on your entry price. Strong owner satisfaction can help support demand, but the recent decline means you should still think carefully about timing and condition.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.74/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2018 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2018 if:

• 34.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 14.84% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.74/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: You should lean toward the 2018 if you want the best mix of comfort, capability, and value in this generation, especially now that prices have eased and inventory is available. If you’re more price-sensitive, a nearby year may still make sense, but the 2018 is the better all-around pick when you want a well-liked Grand Cherokee with strong owner approval and a more favourable market position.
