Used 2016 Jeep Grand Cherokee for Sale near Ontario

How much does the 2016 Jeep Grand Cherokee cost?

Prices have softened 26.40% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 180 listings available, which gives you a reasonable amount of inventory to compare before you buy.

Is the 2016 Jeep Grand Cherokee a good car?

Yes — the 4.8/5 user rating points to strong owner satisfaction. Owners consistently praise its comfort, performance, luxurious features, spacious interior, and strong Hemi engine. That makes it a good fit if you want an SUV that can handle everyday driving while still feeling capable for more rugged use. With 22.2% of listings marked as good or great deals, you also have some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2016 Jeep Grand Cherokee reliable?

Owners rate it 4.8/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback highlights a dependable-feeling ownership experience centred on comfort, performance, and the ability to count on its strong engine and versatile SUV character. That said, used buyers should still think carefully about maintenance history and how the vehicle was treated over time, since long-term ownership risk is always higher when service records are incomplete.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2016 Jeep Grand Cherokee?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently and still find worthwhile options.

• Deal availability: 22.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 180 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 26.40% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $15,068 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2016 Jeep Grand Cherokee's resale value?

The current average of $15,068 CAD sits slightly below last year's $20,473 CAD.

That price movement suggests the market has cooled, which can make resale timing more important if you plan to sell later. If values stay near the current level, you may not see the same return you would have expected a year ago. On the other hand, a lower entry price can help keep your ownership costs more manageable if you buy now and hold the vehicle for several years.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.8/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2016 Jeep Grand Cherokee or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2016 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2016 if:

• 22.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 26.40% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.8/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: If you want a Grand Cherokee with strong owner approval, a lower current price, and enough inventory to compare options, the 2016 is the primary year to target. If you are especially price-sensitive, you can also use the broader market to hunt for the best deal rather than settling for the first clean example you see.
