Used 2018 Honda Pilot for Sale near Alberta

How much does the 2018 Honda Pilot cost?

Prices have softened 11.92% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 182 listings available, which gives you a modest amount of inventory to compare before you buy.

Is the 2018 Honda Pilot a good car?

Yes — the 4.67/5 user rating points to strong owner satisfaction. Drivers consistently praise its great value, spaciousness, and driving comfort, and many also like the rear entertainment system and roomy interior. For you, that makes it a sensible pick if you want a practical three-row SUV for family use, especially if space and everyday comfort matter more than flash. With 33.5% of listings marked as good or great deals, there is still a healthy share of attractive pricing in the market.

Is the 2018 Honda Pilot reliable?

Owners rate it 4.67/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

User feedback describes it as reliable and dependable, with owners generally feeling confident in it for long-term use. The overall impression is of a trouble-free family SUV, even though some drivers mention radio sound quality and common mechanical concerns such as emissions issues. For used buyers, that means the main ownership risk is less about the Pilot’s core appeal and more about checking the specific vehicle’s maintenance history and condition carefully.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2018 Honda Pilot?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you have room to shop carefully rather than rush.

• Deal availability: 33.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 182 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 11.92% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $24,054 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2018 Honda Pilot's resale value?

The current average of $24,404 CAD sits slightly below last year's $27,705 CAD.

That price movement suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can make the Pilot easier to buy now but may also limit short-term upside for a future seller. If you own one and plan to sell later, the current softness means your return will depend heavily on condition, mileage, and service records. A well-kept example should still hold appeal because shoppers continue to value the Pilot’s space and comfort.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.67/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2018 Honda Pilot or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2018 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2018 if:

• 33.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 11.92% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.67/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: If you want a roomy, comfortable three-row SUV with strong owner approval, the 2018 is a solid year to target. You should prioritise it if you value family space, easy-to-use tech, and a market that currently offers some pricing leverage. If you are especially price-sensitive, you can also compare nearby years to see whether a lower asking price outweighs the 2018’s strong satisfaction and softened market.
