CarGurus Analysis: 2017 Lexus IS
Summary
With 51 currently listed for sale and an average price of $24,071 CAD, 35.3% of 2017 Lexus IS listings on CarGurus are rated as good or great deals.
Favourably reviewed: Owners rated the 2017 Lexus IS 4.5 / 5 stars.
Why it stands out
The 2017 Lexus IS stands out as a compact luxury sports sedan that blends sharp styling with a strong emphasis on driver appeal. For this model year, it received a slight refresh with revised front and rear ends, a tweaked grille, new headlights and taillights, a bigger infotainment system, and a redesigned centre console. It also came with Lexus Safety System+ as standard, bringing forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, lane departure warning, and adaptive cruise control. Those updates help make the 2017 IS feel more modern and better equipped than its earlier third-generation form.
It also remains appealing because it keeps the IS formula focused and relatively simple. The third-generation IS offered rear-wheel drive as standard, with all-wheel drive available on non-F sedans, and there was no manual transmission. Standard equipment was generous for a luxury sedan, including passive entry, push-button start, a 10-way power adjustable driver’s seat, leatherette upholstery, HID headlights with washers, an eight-inch infotainment system, dual-zone climate control, and Bluetooth. Available features such as blind spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, and the Lexus Enform 2.0 infotainment system add to its everyday usability, while the compact rear seat and limited cargo space remain the main trade-offs for buyers who need more practicality.

I have only owned this car for three weeks and am still learning features. Absolutely love the ride of this car. The seats are amazing with lumbar support. I am hoping to own this car for a long time.
