Besides it being a beautiful car.The cars performance is excellent. It handles well for a smooth drive.I love this car🥰
Jun 27, 2022
Nice car to drive if you like sporty car, not a family car. Even if you get the base model still drive awesome, I had a BMW 330e model before I owned the Lexus and the BMW is a solid car. But with all the problems that German cars have I think this one is a winner.

Nice car to drive if you like sporty car, not a family car. Even if you get the base model still drive awesome, I had a BMW 330e model before I owned the Lexus and the BMW is a solid car. But with all the problems that German cars have I think this one is a winner.

How much does the 2019 Lexus IS cost?
| Metric | Value |
|---|---|
| Current Average Price | $29,101 CAD |
| Year-Round Low | $29,076 CAD |
| Year-Round High | $31,345 CAD |
| Average Price a Year Ago | $31,075 CAD |
| Change vs. Last Year | −6.35% |
Prices have softened 6.35% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.
There are 44 listings available, which gives you a modest amount of inventory to compare.
Is the 2019 Lexus IS a good car?
With a user rating of 3/5, the 2019 Lexus IS looks like a mixed but workable choice if you value its overall package and are comfortable shopping carefully. The market also shows 25% of listings as good or great deals, which suggests there are still some worthwhile opportunities if you compare prices closely.
Is now a good time to buy a used 2019 Lexus IS?
This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop with some leverage if you stay patient and focused.
- Deal availability: 25% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
- Inventory: There are 44 listings available.
- Price trend: Prices have softened 6.35% compared with last year.
If you find a listing below $29,076 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.
What is the 2019 Lexus IS's resale value?
The current average of $29,101 CAD sits slightly below last year's $31,075 CAD.
That softer pricing can help you buy at a more favourable point in the cycle, but it also means future resale may depend heavily on how well you maintain the car and how competitively you price it later. If market conditions stay similar, a clean, well-documented example should be easier to move than one priced above the current range.
Should I buy a 2019 Lexus IS or consider a different year?
If you're weighing the 2019 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:
Choose the 2019 if:
- 25% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
- Price trend: Prices have softened 6.35% compared with last year.
The bottom line: The 2019 Lexus IS makes sense if you want to shop a model year with softer pricing and a reasonable share of attractive listings. If your priority is stretching your budget further, a nearby year with lower asking prices may be the better path, but the 2019 is the stronger pick if you want to focus on current deal opportunities.
How does the 2019 Lexus IS compare to the 2019 BMW 3 Series?
