Used 2017 Jeep Grand Cherokee for Sale nearMississauga, ON

How much does the 2017 Jeep Grand Cherokee cost?

Prices have softened 15.33% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 229 listings available, which gives you a reasonable amount of choice in the used market.

Is the 2017 Jeep Grand Cherokee a good car?

Yes — the 4.77/5 user rating points to strong owner satisfaction. Owners consistently praise the comfortable ride, spacious interior, and luxury features, while also highlighting performance, safety, and towing capability. That lines up well if you want a used SUV that feels more premium than many mainstream rivals and still offers genuine versatility for everyday driving and weekend use. With 29.7% of listings marked as good or great deals, you have a decent chance of finding a competitive offer.

Is the 2017 Jeep Grand Cherokee reliable?

Owners rate it 4.77/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback also points to a vehicle that many drivers find dependable in day-to-day use, with praise centred on comfort, performance, and the ability to handle towing and varied driving conditions. That said, some reviewers mention concerns about gas mileage and interior materials, so you should pay close attention to maintenance history and overall condition when shopping used.

For long-term ownership, the main risk is that a neglected example could be more expensive to live with than a well-kept one, so a thorough inspection matters.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2017 Jeep Grand Cherokee?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can be choosy if you’re comparing multiple listings.

• Deal availability: 29.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 229 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 15.33% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $17,971 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2017 Jeep Grand Cherokee's resale value?

The current average of $18,111 CAD sits slightly below last year's $21,391 CAD.

That price movement suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you buy more confidently now but may also limit short-term upside if you plan to resell soon. For a future seller, the softer pricing means you should expect resale value to depend heavily on condition, mileage, and equipment rather than on broad market momentum alone. Well-kept examples with desirable features should still attract attention, but you may need to price competitively to move the vehicle.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.77/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2017 Jeep Grand Cherokee or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2017 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2017 if:

• 29.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 15.33% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.77/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2017 is a strong choice if you want a used Grand Cherokee with a comfortable ride, premium feel, and broad capability, especially if you value the added equipment and Trailhawk availability for this year. If your priority is stretching your budget, a nearby year with a lower asking price may be worth considering, but the 2017 remains the better pick when you want a well-liked, well-rounded version of the formula.
