The owner feedback also points to reliable performance and a trouble-free ownership experience for many drivers, with comments that suggest you can count on it for everyday use. Is now a good time to buy a used 2016 Volvo XC60?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently and still find worthwhile listings.

• Deal availability: 31.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 51 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 13.58% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $14,221 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2016 Volvo XC60's resale value?

The current average of $14,804 CAD sits slightly below last year's $17,130 CAD.

That softer pricing suggests the model has become more accessible for used buyers, but it also means a future seller may need to price carefully to stay competitive. The current range still leaves room for well-kept examples to hold value better than average, especially if they are clean, well maintained, and attractively equipped. Strong owner satisfaction can help support demand when it is time to sell.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.9/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2016 Volvo XC60 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2016 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2016 if:

• 31.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 13.58% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.9/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2016 is the better pick if you want a well-liked XC60 with strong owner satisfaction and a softer used-market price. If you are especially price-sensitive, it is worth comparing nearby years for the best deal, but the 2016 remains a sensible primary target when comfort, safety, and value all matter.
