What is the 2016 Nissan Murano's resale value?

The current average of $12,430 CAD sits slightly below last year's $15,529 CAD.

That price movement suggests the Murano has become more accessible for buyers, but it also means a future seller may need to price carefully to stay competitive. If you buy at the right number now, you may have less downside risk than someone who paid closer to last year’s average. The model’s comfort-first appeal and distinctive styling should still help it attract shoppers who want a more premium-feeling midsize SUV.

Vehicles with solid owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2016 Nissan Murano or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2016 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2016 if:

• 29.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 19.96% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4/5 — a solid satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2016 Murano makes sense if you want the Murano formula at a softer price point and you value comfort, style, and a well-equipped cabin over sporty handling. If you are especially price-sensitive, you may want to compare nearby years and focus on whichever one gives you the best combination of condition, equipment, and asking price.
