Is the 2015 Nissan Murano a good car?

Generally — the 2015 Nissan Murano earns a 4.4/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. Owners consistently praise its smooth ride, stylish design, and spacious interior, and many also like its performance and value for money. For you, that makes it a good fit if you want a family-friendly midsize SUV with a comfortable ride and a more premium feel than many rivals. Is the 2015 Nissan Murano reliable?

The owner feedback also points to a vehicle that many drivers find dependable and trouble-free in everyday use, especially when it comes to comfort and long-term ownership appeal. At the same time, some owners mention CVT durability concerns, so you should pay close attention to service history and how the transmission behaves on a test drive. For used buyers, that means the long-term risk is manageable, but only if you choose carefully and verify maintenance records.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2015 Nissan Murano?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently and compare listings before committing.

• Deal availability: 29.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 109 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 19.21% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $11,016 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2015 Nissan Murano's resale value?

The current average of $11,048 CAD sits slightly below last year's $13,675 CAD.

That softer pricing suggests the Murano has become more accessible for buyers, but it also means future sellers may need to price competitively to stand out. If you buy at the current average or below, you may have less downside risk than someone who paid closer to last year’s higher market level. The model’s comfort-focused appeal and strong owner satisfaction should help support demand, but resale will still depend on condition, mileage, and maintenance history.

Vehicles with solid owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.4/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2015 Nissan Murano or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2015 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2015 if:

• 29.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 19.21% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.4/5 — a solid satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: You should lean toward the 2015 if you want the Murano’s newer third-generation styling, improved cabin, and comfort-first character at a lower used price. If you are especially price-sensitive, a nearby older year may cost less, but the 2015 is the better all-around pick when you want the more modern design and a stronger overall ownership experience.
