Is the 2018 Nissan Murano a good car?

Yes — the 2018 Nissan Murano earns a 4.8/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. Is the 2018 Nissan Murano reliable?

Owners rate it 4.8/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback points to a vehicle that many drivers find dependable and trouble-free over time, especially when it comes to everyday comfort and ownership confidence. That kind of response suggests the Murano can be a sensible used buy if you want a crossover you can count on for regular use. For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is less about outright satisfaction and more about making sure the specific vehicle has been maintained properly.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2018 Nissan Murano?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently and still find worthwhile listings.

• Deal availability: 30.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 254 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 21.62% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $15,582 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2018 Nissan Murano's resale value?

The current average of $15,777 CAD sits slightly below last year's $20,130 CAD.

That drop suggests the Murano has become more affordable for buyers, but it also means a future seller may need to price competitively to stand out. If you buy now, the lower entry price can help reduce your upfront cost, though resale gains are unlikely to be driven by appreciation. Instead, your best protection is choosing a well-kept example that will remain attractive to the next buyer.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.8/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2018 Nissan Murano or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2018 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2018 if:

• 30.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 21.62% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.8/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2018 Murano is the better pick if you want the strongest mix of owner satisfaction, softer pricing, and a comfort-first driving experience. If you are especially price-sensitive, a nearby year may still make sense, but the 2018 stands out as a smart target when you want a well-liked used SUV with a more premium feel.
