Drivers’ feedback highlights reliability and a trouble-free ownership experience as part of the appeal, alongside the car’s long-term value and efficient day-to-day use. This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently and still find worthwhile options.

• Deal availability: 28.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 216 listings available.

What is the 2016 Mazda MAZDA3's resale value?

The current average of $11,549 CAD sits slightly below last year's $12,979 CAD.

That softer pricing suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can make this model easier to buy now but may also limit upside for a future seller. If you purchase at the right price and keep the car in strong condition, you may be better positioned to preserve value when it is time to sell. Demand should remain supported by the model’s broad appeal and its reputation for being enjoyable to drive.

Vehicles with solid owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.3/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2016 Mazda MAZDA3 or consider a different year?
