Is the 2015 Lexus RX a good car?

Yes — the 4.7/5 user rating points to strong owner satisfaction. Drivers consistently praise its comfort, reliability, and solid performance, and many also highlight the luxurious interior and smooth ride. That lines up well with the RX’s role as a premium SUV for you if you want a calm, refined, and easy-to-live-with vehicle rather than something sporty. With 28.6% of listings marked as good or great deals, you still have a decent chance of finding attractive pricing in the market.

The user feedback points to reliability, dependability, and trouble-free ownership as major strengths, which fits the RX’s reputation for being a vehicle you can count on over the long term. For used buyers, that usually means lower ownership stress and a better chance of avoiding unpleasant surprises as the kilometres add up.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2015 Lexus RX?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can be choosy without expecting deep discounts everywhere.

• Price trend: Prices have held steady compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $21,028 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2015 Lexus RX's resale value?

The current average of $22,372 CAD sits slightly below last year's $22,549 CAD.

That small decline suggests the RX has held its value fairly well, which is what you want if you plan to sell later. A stable price trend also tells you the market sees this model year as a dependable used luxury SUV rather than a fast-depreciating one. If you buy carefully now, you should have a better chance of recovering a solid share of your purchase price later.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.7/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2015 Lexus RX or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2015 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2015 if:

• 28.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have held steady compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.7/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2015 RX makes the most sense if you want a comfortable, well-regarded luxury SUV with steady pricing and strong owner approval. If your priority is stretching your budget further, a nearby year with a lower asking price may be worth a look, but the 2015 remains the safer all-around choice for buyers who value confidence and long-term satisfaction.
