Is the 2015 Kia Sorento a good car?

Yes — the 2015 Kia Sorento earns a 4.75/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. Owners consistently praise the spacious interior, smooth ride, and reliable performance, and the Sorento’s practical midsize-SUV layout makes it a sensible fit if you want family-friendly versatility. The broad feature set and useful third row add to its appeal if you need more flexibility than a two-row SUV. With 20.2% of listings marked as good or great deals, you still have some room to shop carefully.

Is the 2015 Kia Sorento reliable?

Owners rate it 4.75/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback highlights reliable performance and a generally trouble-free ownership experience, which is encouraging if you want a used SUV you can count on. The positive sentiment around durability and day-to-day dependability suggests the Sorento can be a sensible long-term choice, especially if you prioritise practicality over flash. For used buyers, the main ownership risk is making sure the specific vehicle has been maintained properly and that any missing advertised features are identified before you buy.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2015 Kia Sorento?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently and still find worthwhile options.

• Deal availability: 20.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 178 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 12.06% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $9,460 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2015 Kia Sorento's resale value?

The current average of $9,461 CAD sits slightly below last year's $10,758 CAD.

That price movement suggests the market has softened, which can make the Sorento easier to buy now but may also limit upside for a future seller. If you own one, the current pricing trend means you may need to be realistic when setting an asking price, especially if your vehicle has average mileage or visible wear. On the other hand, a well-kept example with desirable equipment should still attract interest because the Sorento’s practicality remains a strong selling point.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.75/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2015 Kia Sorento or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2015 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2015 if:

• 20.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 12.06% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.75/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2015 Sorento is a smart pick if you want a practical, well-liked midsize SUV with a strong value story and you’re comfortable shopping the used market carefully. If you’re especially price-sensitive, you may also want to compare nearby years to see whether a slightly older or newer Sorento gives you a better mix of equipment and asking price.
