Is the 2015 Kia Sorento a good car?

Yes — the 2015 Kia Sorento earns a 4.8/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. Owners consistently praise the spacious interior, smooth ride, and reliable performance, and the Sorento’s practical midsize SUV layout makes it a sensible choice if you want family-friendly versatility. It also offers a broad spread of features for the money, which helps it stand out if you value comfort and usefulness over outright efficiency. With 24.6% of listings marked as good or great deals, there is still meaningful market opportunity if you shop carefully.

Is the 2015 Kia Sorento reliable?

Owners rate it 4.8/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback points to reliable performance and a vehicle that many drivers feel they can count on over time. For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is less about core dependability and more about making sure the specific listing matches what you expect.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2015 Kia Sorento?

This is a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop with some leverage if you are patient and compare listings closely.

• Deal availability: 24.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 171 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 14.50% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $9,450 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2015 Kia Sorento's resale value?

The current average of $9,599 CAD sits slightly below last year's $11,227 CAD.

That softer pricing can be helpful if you are buying now, but it also means future resale upside may be more limited unless the market strengthens. If you plan to sell later, the Sorento’s value will likely depend on how well you preserve condition, mileage, and feature content. Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.8/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2015 Kia Sorento or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2015 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2015 if:

• 24.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 14.50% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.8/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2015 Sorento is a strong pick if you want a practical, well-equipped midsize SUV with a good owner satisfaction record and a softer used-market price. If you are especially price-sensitive, you may also want to compare nearby model years to see whether a lower-priced listing offers similar space and features for less money.
