Is the 2015 Kia Sorento a good car?

Yes — the 2015 Kia Sorento earns a 4.8/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. Owners consistently praise the spacious interior, smooth ride, and reliable performance, and the Sorento’s practical midsize-SUV layout makes it a sensible choice if you want family-friendly versatility. For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is less about outright dependability and more about making sure the specific vehicle matches its listing and has been maintained properly.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2015 Kia Sorento?

The market looks moderate and selective, so you can shop with some leverage if you are patient and compare listings closely.

• Deal availability: 17.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 173 listings available.

What is the 2015 Kia Sorento's resale value?

The current average of $9,588 CAD sits slightly below last year's $11,313 CAD.

That price movement suggests the Sorento has become more accessible for buyers, which can make it easier to sell if you price it competitively. For future sellers, the softer market means you may need to be realistic on asking price to attract attention. The good news is that the model’s practical layout and strong owner satisfaction can help support demand when your vehicle is well kept and properly equipped.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.8/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2015 Kia Sorento or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2015 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2015 if:

• 17.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 15.25% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.8/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: If you want a well-rounded midsize SUV with a spacious cabin, a smooth ride, and strong owner approval, the 2015 Sorento is a solid choice. If you are especially price-sensitive, you may also want to compare nearby years to see whether a similarly equipped example offers a better deal, but the 2015 remains appealing for shoppers who value comfort and usefulness over outright performance.
