The 2024 Ford Mustang Mach-E retained its distinctive and sharp styling, with an aggressive front fascia and a sloping profile that maintained the Mustang's iconic tri-bar tail lights. The lamps were refreshed to match the signature lighting of the seventh-generation Ford Mustang, while other updates focused on individual trims. The new Rally trim emerged as the top-of-the-line model, featuring unique styling cues such as LED fog lamps, a black roof, and Oxford White 19-inch wheels. The GT trim offered 20-inch wheels with various finishes, and the Bronze Appearance Package added a touch of Sinister Bronze to the mix. Inside, the Mach-E's minimalist dash and large touchscreen remained, with Ford Performance front seats now standard on the GT and Rally trims.

The 2025 Lincoln Aviator, built on a rear-wheel-drive platform shared with the Ford Explorer, boasted classic design proportions with a blunt nose and a tapered roofline. While the 2025 styling was less elegant than before, the interior exuded a classic architectural sensibility. The Aviator's plush interior didn't rely heavily on screens, offering a more traditional approach. However, the remote keyless entry fob was a disappointment, made of cheap plastic. The Aviator was available in Premiere and Reserve trims in Canada, with prices ranging from $79,595 to $81,695. Our test vehicle, in Reserve trim, featured extra-cost Whisper Blue paint and several option packages, bringing the MSRP to $96,295.

The 2024 Ford Mustang Mach-E's ride was firmer than desired, even with the revised GT's MagneRide damping system. The Mach-E maintained a sports-car-first approach, with sporty steering feel and tight handling. The GT Performance Upgrade package increased torque to 700 lb-ft, achieving a 0-96 km/h time of 3.3 seconds. Ford Performance features, including Brembo front brake calipers, were standard on the GT and Rally trims. The Rally trim also had a 2.5-centimetre lift and unique suspension tuning for off-road use. The Mach-E's range varied by trim, with the base model offering 402 kilometres and the Premium trim reaching 515 kilometres. DC fast-charging was improved, reducing charging time by 20%.

The 2025 Lincoln Aviator featured a twin-turbocharged 3.0-litre V6 engine, delivering 400 horsepower and 415 lb-ft of torque through a 10-speed automatic transmission. Drivers could choose from various driving modes, with the optional adaptive air suspension firming up in Excite mode. The Aviator excelled in Normal mode, offering ample power for acceleration and passing. However, fuel economy was disappointing at 13.3 L/100 km. The Aviator's sightlines were clear, aided by thin windshield pillars and large sideview mirrors. The ride quality was pleasant in urban settings, but the 22-inch wheels and thin tires struggled on rough roads. The Aviator's adaptive Air Glide suspension ensured a composed and calming ride.

The 2024 Ford Mustang Mach-E's crossover body style provided ample interior space, with 965 litres of cargo space, including a drainable frunk. Folding the rear seats expanded cargo capacity to 1,690 litres. The driver and front passenger enjoyed 988 millimetres of headroom, while back-seat passengers had 970 mm without the panoramic glass roof. Legroom measured 1,100 mm in the front and 968 mm in the rear. Power-adjustable seats were standard, with ActiveX seating surfaces and Miko inserts adding a touch of luxury. Heated front seats were available on the base trim and standard on others.

The 2025 Lincoln Aviator offered luxurious comfort with its Perfect Position front seats, adjustable in 30 ways with heating, ventilation, and massage functions. Second-row captain's chairs were roomy and supportive, with available heating and ventilation. However, the third-row seats were less accommodating for adults. Storage space was excellent, with a smartphone charging pad, cupholders, and deep door panel storage pockets. The Aviator provided 466 litres of cargo space behind the third row, expanding to 1,131 litres with the third row folded. Maximum cargo capacity reached 2,149 litres.

The 2024 Ford Mustang Mach-E came standard with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, featuring the latest SYNC 4A infotainment software on a 15.5-inch touchscreen. The system included Ford's Intelligent Range, a cloud-based feature that kept range estimates accurate.
