Nissan Rogue (2014 - 2020) Reviews, Pricing & Specs

I was searching for a small to midsize SUV, all wheel drive, and had initially looked at the Toyota 4-Runner, decided it was too big, and narrowed my search to the Nissan Rogue and the Toyota Rav4. I had reviewed electric cars as well (VW Id4), and a few others from Volvo and Lexus. Looking at the new Rogue and Rav4, these were about the same price for what I wanted (38k) - leather seats, all-wheel drive. I started looking at lightly used models a couple years old and was extremely pleased with the 2019 Rogue - it has a luxury car feel to it, with every safety feature you could ask for - lane assist, blind spot monitoring, start/stop braking, etc. I think this car is a great value for what you get and Im super happy to own one now. I paid 30k for a 2019 with under 30,000 miles thats still under the manufacturers warranty and was a lease return, so maintained very well over the last two-three years. Aug 08, 2022

Im tall (62) with a bad back and like stepping up into my seat, not dropping down into it. I wanted a car like my last one, an Acura but Toyota and Honda were too expensive or didnt have this style. This Nissan Rogue has the room, style and comfort I expected with a 100k Warranty thats transferrable, making being a 2nd Owner less risky. Ive driven a few and recommend buying as new as you can, I did. Nov 29, 2020

Nissan Rogue SV 2016 is a great car in its class. I had a comparison between a this and a Ford Escape 2017. The only reason to choose Nissan over Ford is the interior design in the base model of Nissan is way ahead. Ford comes with a tad more powerful engine, lower mpg and interiors that are way less in the base model. However, the only feature which I do not like so far is the engine start button on Nissan. Still trying to figure all the electronics and controls as my previous vehicle was way too manual.Jun 24, 2020
