Used 2019 RAM 1500 for SaleNationwide

How much does the 2019 RAM 1500 cost?

Prices have softened 11.01% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 1,468 listings available, which suggests solid inventory for used-truck shoppers.

Is the 2019 RAM 1500 a good car?

Yes — the 4.7/5 user rating points to strong owner satisfaction. Owners consistently praise the smooth ride, powerful engine, and spacious, well-appointed interior, which fits well if you want a full-size pickup that feels more refined and family-friendly than purely work-focused. The 2019 redesign also supports that appeal with a new frame, updated technology, and a cabin that feels more upscale than many rivals. With 35.6% of listings marked as good or great deals, you have a decent chance of finding a competitively priced example.

Is the 2019 RAM 1500 reliable?

Owners rate it 4.7/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback also points to a truck that many people find dependable over time, with praise for its smooth ride and strong power delivery. That said, some owners mention build-quality concerns, so a careful inspection still matters on the used market. For long-term ownership, your biggest risk is likely tied to condition and maintenance history rather than broad reliability red flags.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2019 RAM 1500?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently but should move quickly on standout listings.

• Deal availability: 35.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,468 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 11.01% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $27,197 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2019 RAM 1500's resale value?

The current average of $27,307 CAD sits slightly below last year's $30,687 CAD.

That decline suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you as a buyer today but may limit upside if you plan to resell soon. If you buy at the right price and keep the truck in strong condition, you may be better positioned to preserve value than someone who pays near the top of the range. The broad spread between the low and high prices also means trim, mileage, and condition will matter a lot when it comes time to sell.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.7/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2019 RAM 1500 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2019 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2019 if:

• 35.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 11.01% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.7/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2020 if:

• At $31,157 CAD, the 2020 costs more than the current year's $27,307 CAD average.
• It adds the EcoDiesel engine across the lineup.

The bottom line:
Choose the 2019 if you want the better value and are happy with the redesign’s comfort, cabin quality, and strong owner approval. Consider the 2020 if you specifically want the diesel option and are willing to pay more for it; otherwise, the 2019 is the smarter buy for price-conscious shoppers.
