Engine Bogs Down And Quits

1964 GTO when idling and I press the gas the engine bogs down and stalls. When cold is worse but still does when warmed up. If I pump the peddle I can keep it running.

I changed the brakes I changed the master cylinder Now they are saying it's the abs control module. How can I test to find out for sure. Also if I do change it will I have to get it reprogrammed?!
