New & Used 2026 RAM 2500 for Sale nearComox, BC

Is the 2026 RAM 2500 a good car?

Yes — the 2026 RAM 2500 earns 5/5 from owners and 7.7/10 from our experts. The standout strength is Form and function at 9/10.

It is built for you if you need serious capability rather than urban convenience, with multiple cab and bed choices, a powerful engine, and impressive towing and off-road capability. The trade-offs are clear: it is big, expensive, and hard to park in tight city spaces, and it is not a bargain. 21.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2026 RAM 2500 reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The 2026 RAM 2500 is presented as a heavy-duty truck designed to work hard, and its stout powertrains and serious capability support that role. The available 6.4-litre Hemi V8 and 6.7-litre Cummins turbocharged diesel give you proven heavy-duty hardware, and the diesel’s huge torque output is aimed at demanding towing and hauling. Ram also positions this truck as a current, well-updated model year, which helps if you want a used truck that still feels relevant.

For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is cost: big trucks cost big money, and the expensive diesel and higher trims can make upkeep and purchase price climb quickly.

What should I look for when buying a used 2026 RAM 2500?

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The base Tradesman is a no-frills workhorse with a plain matte plastic grille and black steel wheels, while the Big Horn adds chrome. Black Express brings a street-oriented look with a Sport Performance Hood, 20-inch black wheels, and black tubular side steps. Warlock is aimed at the off-road crowd with decals, fender flares, bumpers, 20-inch diamond-cut wheels, and 33-inch all-terrain tires. Laramie adds the creature comforts most truck owners expect, while Limited and Limited Longhorn move into high-end leather and luxury finishes.
• Powertrain: You get a 6.4-litre Hemi V8 with 405 horsepower and 429 pound-feet of torque, or an optional 6.7-litre Cummins turbocharged diesel with 430 hp and 1,075 lb-ft of torque. Both use an eight-speed automatic transmission. The diesel is the heavy-hauling choice, while the Hemi feels quicker around town.
• Safety package: Ram’s Safety Group bundles adaptive steering, active lane management, drowsy driver detection, and traffic sign recognition. Blind spot monitoring with trailer coverage, pedestrian detection, and rear cross-traffic alert are standard on Power Wagon, Rebel, Laramie, Limited, and Limited Longhorn, but optional on Tradesman, Black Express, Warlock, and Big Horn. ParkSense parking sensors are optional on Tradesman, Black Express, and Warlock, but standard on the other trims. Adaptive cruise control is standard across the board.
• Infotainment: Tradesman, Black Express, Warlock, and Big Horn come with an 8.4-inch touchscreen, while Power Wagon, Rebel, and Laramie get a 12-inch unit. Top-shelf trucks have a 14.4-inch touchscreen. Uconnect 5 is standard, with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Built-in navigation is optional, and a 10.25-inch passenger screen is also available.
• Fuel efficiency: The diesel engine is the efficiency-minded choice for heavy-duty use, while the Hemi is the quicker-feeling option around town.

Which 2026 RAM 2500 trim should I buy?

The 2026 RAM 2500 is offered in 8 trim levels: Tradesman, Big Horn, Black Express, Warlock, Power Wagon, Rebel, Laramie, Limited.

Here's the short version:

• Tradesman: This is the work-focused starting point, best if you want the lowest-frills truck and plan to build up from there.
• Big Horn: This adds a more polished look with chrome and is the sensible step up if you want a nicer everyday truck without going too far up the price ladder.
• Black Express: This is the best-value style pick if you want a sporty appearance, standard 4WD, and Crew Cab availability with either bed length.
• Warlock: Choose this if you want an off-road-leaning setup from the factory, including all-terrain tyres, skid protection, and hill descent control.
• Power Wagon: This is the serious off-road choice, with electronic locking front and rear differentials and a disconnecting front sway bar.
• Rebel: Pick this if you want an off-road-oriented trim with more standard safety equipment than the lower trims.
• Laramie: This is the best all-rounder for many buyers, combining comfort, a larger standard touchscreen, and more standard safety equipment.
• Limited: Go here if you want the luxury end of the range with high-end leather and the most upscale feel.
