CarGurus Analysis: 2023 RAM 2500
overall
Summary
With 455 currently listed for sale and an average price of $67,494 CAD, 29.0% of 2023 RAM 2500 listings on CarGurus are rated as good or great deals.
Favourably reviewed: Owners rated the 2023 RAM 2500 4.2 / 5 stars and CarGurus experts gave it a 7.5 / 10.
Why it stands out
The 2023 RAM 2500 stands out as a heavy-duty pickup that blends serious capability with a more comfortable, well-equipped feel than many buyers expect in this class. In the expert test drive data, the new 2023 Ram 2500 Rebel is presented as a response to rivals from Ford and GMC, and the truck’s strengths are framed around impressive off-road capability, a powerful turbodiesel engine option, and a spacious, comfortable cabin. That combination makes it appealing to buyers who want a truck that can handle demanding work and still feel accommodating inside.
There are trade-offs, though. The same test drive notes that the column shifter feels flimsy and that the truck is difficult to enter and exit, which may matter to shoppers who use it every day. The turbodiesel engine option is also described as expensive, so while the 2023 RAM 2500 offers strong capability and comfort, it may ask more of buyers in both price and practicality than some alternatives.

Features are great. Good value for the price I paid. I think the necessary performance upgrades required to make it reliable are excessively overpriced but as a stock vehicle it was priced right.
