How much does the 2025 Porsche 911 cost?

Prices have softened 9.91% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

Is the 2025 Porsche 911 a good car?

Yes — the 2025 Porsche 911 earns a 5/5 user rating and an 8.83/10 expert rating. The model scores 10/10 across Look and feel and Performance.

It pairs a familiar rear-engine shape with subtle updates to the face, interior, and power output, so you get a modernised version of a classic formula. The cabin is comfortable and simplistic, and the car is praised for excellent ride quality, great usability, and handsome looks.

The trade-offs are that highway wind buffeting can be noticeable, the technology can be slightly confusing, and the base model no longer offers a manual transmission.

With 29.8% of listings marked as good or great deals, there is still enough market activity to find a strong example if you shop carefully.

Is the 2025 Porsche 911 reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The 2025 Porsche 911 is presented as a refined evolution of the 992.2 generation, with careful updates rather than a wholesale redesign. Its performance hardware and everyday usability suggest a car built to handle regular use without feeling compromised, and the expert assessment highlights strong ride quality, solid braking, and confident dynamics.

The powertrain is described as a 3.0-litre twin-turbo flat-six with an eight-speed dual-clutch gearbox, and the car’s standard adaptive dampers help it stay composed on rough roads. The overall ownership risk for used buyers is mainly tied to the usual sports-car realities: higher running costs, more complex hardware, and the need to inspect how the car was driven and maintained.

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 Porsche 911?

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The base Carrera is the entry point, and it brings the standard rear-wheel-drive layout, the 3.0-litre twin-turbo flat-six, and the simplified interior theme. It also gets standard Matrix Design LED headlights and a clean cabin layout, while the Premium Package adds more convenience and driver-assistance equipment.
• Powertrain: You get a 3.0-litre twin-turbo flat-six with 389 horsepower and 332 pound-feet of torque, paired with an eight-speed PDK and rear-wheel drive. It is quick, smooth, and tuned for strong everyday usability as well as serious performance.
• Safety package: Standard equipment includes traffic sign recognition, pedestrian protection, forward-collision warning, and automatic emergency braking. The Premium Package adds adaptive cruise control, a 360-degree camera system with active parking assistance, and lane-change assist.
• Infotainment: The centre screen is 10.9 inches, and the system is described as simple and easy to use. Wireless Apple CarPlay is supported, and the interface is designed to be relatively distraction-free.
• Fuel efficiency: Natural Resources Canada-rated fuel economy is 12.9 L/100 km in the city, 9.2 L/100 km on the highway, and 11.3 L/100 km combined.

Which 2025 Porsche 911 trim should I buy?

The 2025 Porsche 911 is offered in 6 trim levels: Carrera, Cabriolet, Carrera T, Carrera GTS T-Hybrid, Carrera 4 GTS, and Targa GTS.

Here's the short version:

• Carrera: This is the best-value choice if you want the core 911 experience, because it delivers the strongest mix of performance, ride quality, handling, and braking without pushing you into pricier variants. It is the trim that best captures the car’s everyday usability and driving enjoyment.
• Cabriolet: Choose this if open-air driving matters most to you. It starts higher than the coupe, so you are paying for the convertible body style rather than a major change in the 911’s character.
• Carrera T: This is the one to consider if you want the manual transmission that is no longer available on the base model. It is the enthusiast-focused choice in the lineup.
• Carrera GTS T-Hybrid: This is the step-up performance option, with a 3.6-litre flat-six, larger turbochargers, and a plug-in hybrid system that raises output substantially. It suits buyers who want more power and are comfortable paying for it.
• Carrera 4 GTS: Pick this if you want the GTS formula with all-wheel drive. It adds traction-focused capability and sits above the rear-drive GTS in price.
• Targa GTS: This is the choice for buyers who want the GTS performance mix with the Targa roof style. It is the most distinctive body-style option in this group.

The Premium Package is the key safety-package upgrade to look for if you want adaptive cruise control, a 360-degree camera system with active parking assistance, and lane-change assist.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Porsche 911?

This is a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently but still move quickly on the right car.

• Deal availability: 29.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 171 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 9.91% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $257,931 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 Porsche 911's resale value?

The current average of $269,044 CAD sits slightly below last year's $298,641 CAD.

That softer pricing can be helpful if you are buying now, but it also means a future seller may need to be realistic about where the market has settled. The current range still shows meaningful demand, especially for well-kept examples with desirable equipment and strong presentation.

If prices continue to stabilise, the 911’s broad appeal should help support values better than many sports cars. Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2025 Porsche 911 safe?

The 2025 Porsche 911 Carrera has not been tested by either the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) or Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS).

It earns a 9/10 safety score from our experts.

Standard safety equipment includes traffic sign recognition, pedestrian protection, forward-collision warning, and automatic emergency braking. If you want more assistance tech, the Premium Package adds adaptive cruise control, a 360-degree camera system with active parking assistance, and lane-change assist.

Should I buy a 2025 Porsche 911 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 29.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 9.91% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• The 2025 refresh brings subtle updates to the face, interior, and power output while keeping the classic rear-engine character.

The bottom line: If you want the freshest version of the 911 formula with strong usability, excellent performance, and a modernised cabin, the 2025 is the right place to start. If you are more price-sensitive, a nearby model year may offer a lower entry point, but the 2025’s updates and softened pricing make it an especially compelling used buy.
