How much does the 2025 Mercedes-Benz GLS cost?

There are 55 listings available, which suggests a modest amount of inventory for this SUV.

Is the 2025 Mercedes-Benz GLS a good car?

The 2025 Mercedes-Benz GLS is the roomiest vehicle in the Mercedes-Benz lineup, with three rows of seating for six or seven people and up to 2,400 litres of cargo space. It is positioned as a family-focused midsize SUV that blends the comfort and space of the S-Class luxury sedan with a measure of off-road capability, which makes it a strong fit if you want a large, upscale three-row SUV.

For 2025, it also gained a fingerprint scanner as standard equipment on all trims, along with new exterior and interior colours as part of the Manufaktur Signature range of options. Those updates build on an already well-equipped SUV with a comfortable ride, premium interior materials, and easy-to-use technology.

The GLS’s appeal is strongest if you value luxury, space, and versatility in one package. The market shows 23.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which gives you some room to shop carefully.

Is the 2025 Mercedes-Benz GLS reliable?

The 2025 Mercedes-Benz GLS is described as an already well-equipped SUV with a comfortable ride, premium interior materials, and easy-to-use technology. It also adds a fingerprint scanner as standard equipment for 2025, which fits its upscale, convenience-focused character.

Its drawbacks are more about day-to-day usability than outright mechanical concerns: the AMG Line Package can make entry and exit awkward, third-row access is not one of its strengths, and touch-sensing controls can be annoying. For used buyers, that means long-term ownership risk is more likely to come from living with its size and complexity than from its core mission as a luxury family SUV.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Mercedes-Benz GLS?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so it makes sense to compare listings carefully and move quickly on the best-priced examples.

• Deal availability: 23.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 55 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 16.10% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $116,161 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 Mercedes-Benz GLS's resale value?

The current average of $116,398 CAD sits slightly below last year's $138,733 CAD.

That price movement suggests the market has cooled, which can help you as a buyer today. For a future seller, it means resale value may be under pressure if the market stays soft. If you buy at the right price now, you may have a better chance of limiting depreciation later.

Should I buy a 2025 Mercedes-Benz GLS or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 23.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 16.10% compared with last year.

Consider the 2024 if:

• At $92,976 CAD, the 2024 costs less than the current year's $116,398 CAD average.
• It offers a broader trim spread and refreshed updates.

Consider the 2026 if:

• It adds more standard equipment and convenience features.

The bottom line: If you want the newest version with updated features and a softer market, the 2025 is the primary pick. If your priority is saving money, the 2024 is the better secondary path, especially if you can live with its older model-year status.
