Used 2025 Kia Sorento for Sale nearWindsor, ON

How much does the 2025 Kia Sorento cost?

Prices have softened 14.02% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 217 listings available, which suggests you have a reasonable amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2025 Kia Sorento a good car?

Yes — the 2025 Kia Sorento earns a 5/5 user rating and an 8.3/10 expert rating. The model scores 9/10 across Performance and Cost effectiveness.

It is a “right-sized” SUV for you if you want occasional third-row seating without stepping up to a much larger three-row vehicle. The Sorento’s strengths are its powerful engine, impressive technology, and family-friendly usability, while the expert review also notes that it is almost unchanged after a substantial refresh for 2024.

The main trade-offs are that the interior materials feel cheap and the third row is cramped, so it suits you best if you value versatility and equipment more than cabin richness or maximum passenger space. 35.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which is a solid sign of market availability.

Is the 2025 Kia Sorento reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The Sorento is presented as a practical, easy-to-live-with SUV that balances everyday usability with a more upscale feature set. The expert review also points to a strong warranty and a well-rounded ownership experience, especially if you want a family vehicle that feels substantial without being oversized.

Its turbocharged powertrain is described as satisfying, and the review notes that the vehicle is rewarding in daily driving even if it is not especially exciting. Kia also includes a three-year Kia Connect subscription plan, which adds useful connected features for early ownership.

For used buyers, the main long-term risk is that the third row and cargo area are limited, so wear and tear may matter more if the vehicle has been used as a full-time family hauler.

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 Kia Sorento?

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The gas-only lineup includes LX, EX, X-Line, X-Line Limited, and X-Pro. The LX uses the less powerful 2.5-litre engine, while the higher trims get the turbocharged 2.5-litre engine. The X-Line and X-Pro also add black badges, and the X-Pro brings a more rugged look with all-terrain tyres and unique exterior details.
• Powertrain: The LX has a 191-horsepower 2.5-litre four-cylinder and an eight-speed automatic. Other trims use a turbocharged 2.5-litre four-cylinder with 281 horsepower and 311 pound-feet of torque, paired with an eight-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission.
• Safety package: Highway Driving Assist is standard on X-Line, and X-Line Limited and X-Pro add Highway Driving Assist 2 with lane-changing functionality. The X-Line Limited and X-Pro also add numerous active collision avoidance features, a camera-based Blind-Spot View Monitor, and the surround-view camera system.
• Infotainment: Every 2025 Sorento has wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The standard setup includes a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system, while X-Line Limited and X-Pro add a 12.3-inch digital instrument panel for a more upscale presentation. Kia Connect is available with voice recognition, 911 Connect, remote access, and other connected functions.
• Fuel efficiency: The LX is estimated at 9.4 litres per 100 kilometres in combined driving. The turbocharged version is rated at 10.3 L/100 km combined, and the test vehicle averaged 10.0 L/100 km.

Which 2025 Kia Sorento trim should I buy?

The 2025 Kia Sorento is offered in 5 trim levels: LX, EX, X-Line, X-Line Limited, and X-Pro.

Here's the short version:

• LX: This is the value play if you want the Sorento’s size and third-row flexibility at the lowest entry point, but you should expect the least powerful engine and the most basic equipment.
• EX: This is the sensible step-up if you want the stronger turbocharged engine without moving into the more style- or feature-focused trims.
• X-Line: This is the best fit if you want a more distinctive look and standard Highway Driving Assist, while still keeping the Sorento’s core family-friendly formula.
• X-Line Limited: This is the best-value upper trim if you want the more premium dashboard presentation, the added digital instrument panel, and the more advanced driver-assistance hardware.
• X-Pro: This is the trim to choose if you want the most rugged appearance, the all-terrain tyres, the enhanced towing capacity, and the most fully equipped version of the Sorento.

The X-Line Limited and X-Pro also bring the most advanced safety and convenience equipment, so they are the trims to focus on if those features matter most to you.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Kia Sorento?

The market looks moderately favourable for selective buyers who are ready to compare listings carefully.

• Deal availability: 35.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 217 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 14.02% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $40,867 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 Kia Sorento's resale value?

The current average of $40,867 CAD sits slightly below last year's $47,532 CAD.

That price movement suggests the Sorento has become more accessible for used buyers, which can make it easier for future sellers to attract interest if the vehicle is well kept. A softer market can also mean you may need to price competitively when it is time to sell.

Even so, the Sorento’s strong equipment list and broad family appeal should help it remain relevant with shoppers who want a right-sized three-row SUV. Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2025 Kia Sorento safe?

The 2025 Sorento earns five-star overall and individual four-star ratings for its frontal impact and rollover resistance evaluations from NHTSA. It also earns a Top Safety Pick rating from IIHS, though that accolade is valid only for the 2024 calendar year.

It earns an 8/10 safety score from our experts.

Kia installs plenty of standard safety features in the 2025 Sorento, and higher trims add more sophisticated technology. Highway Driving Assist is a semi-autonomous, hands-on system that pairs adaptive cruise control with lane-centring assist, and X-Line Limited and X-Pro upgrade it to Highway Driving Assist 2 with lane-changing functionality.

The X-Line Limited and X-Pro also add numerous active collision avoidance features, a camera-based Blind-Spot View Monitor, and the surround-view camera system. The main caveat is that the IIHS rating may not carry forward in 2025 because of rule changes and a new test result.

Should I buy a 2025 Kia Sorento or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 35.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 14.02% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• The 2025 keeps the right-sized packaging, strong tech, and available advanced driver assistance that make the Sorento appealing.

Consider the 2024 if:

• At $37,587 CAD, the 2024 costs less than the current year's $40,867 CAD average.
• It adds a visual update, major infotainment and safety improvements, and a new X-Pro trim.

The bottom line: Choose the 2025 if you want the current-year market with strong inventory, a softer price trend, and the latest version of the Sorento’s equipment mix. If your priority is saving money, the 2024 remains the better value path because it delivers many of the same core strengths for less.
